ABOUT US

Laces Community Club was founded in 2011 by Katee Hui, a Canadian born football coach, upon realising there were not enough opportunities for women and girls to play football in her local area.

What started as a small pilot project in Hackney became a growing family of female football clubs across London, with the addition of Limehouse Laces in 2014 and South London Laces in 2016. In 2021, Manchester Laces became the fourth member of the family and the first club outside the capital.

Together we have supported over 700 women and girls across the UK.
